T'ai Jamar Hanna(T'ai = calms and peaceful in Chinese, joy in Thai, and big red fish in Japanese! Jamar is a combination of my grandmother's names Jane/Mary and Hanna is my mother's maiden name) Who did you study with? I started studying in 1996 with Mitra Tredway, Iyengar. I earned my 200-hr certification with Paula Tursi, Reflections Yoga along with Thai Yoga Massage training with Peter Kaaberbol, 2006 and have since pursued my advanced 500-hours with Paula/Reflections. I have studied with world renown teachers, Arno Ihermitte and David Lutt of Osteo-Thai College and Jack Chaya of Chiang Mai's Nerve Touch School, 2011. I study with Glenn Black and his senior student, Jill Miller; I am a certified Level-One Yoga Tune Up® instructor. In 2007, I completed a 25-hour prenatal yoga training with Urban Yoga at Kripalu. How long have you been teaching? since 2006, (officially)– though as a coach/recreational leader , I have always encouraged children of all ages to move, to breathe and to move in their bodies. Costa Rica calls to me and I wouldn't mind spending more time in Spain and France.
