Prenatal Yoga: 5 Week Series w/Paula Tursi
Reflections’ 5-week Prenatal Yoga class is more then just a course in asanas. It is my deepest intention to teach you how to care for your body and your soon to come baby, by moving through asana and breathing that will not only make you stronger and more prepared for whats ahead but also address your baby in ways that will stimulate and soothe its developing nervous system. We will connect in ways that will help you to awaken your innate wisdom and move through this precious time consciously, with complete awareness and appreciation for the beauty of child bearing.
Perhaps you have never done yoga and a little afraid starting it now. This is exactly the right time and no better way to connect you to your body and baby. I will help you understand this process and love the miracle that your body is preparing for~ the creation of life!
In these 5 weeks we will
- learn a Prenatal Asanas sequence that will give strength and space and that can evolve as you do
- learn breath work that will be good for you and the baby and be helpful in labor
- we will have one class of thai massage where you can bring your partner so he can learn techniques to help you during the laboring process and understand how valuable he is to the process.
- Learn guided meditation for mother child bonding techniques
