T'ai Jamar Hanna

T'ai Jamar recently returned from studying in Laos and Thailand with the Thai Massage Circus and Nerve Touch School.  She is a Reflections 200-hour Alignment & Flow teacher (ERYT) and completing advanced hours in yogic and spiritual development with Founder and Director, Paula Tursi.  

She works privately with injury-prevention and pain management as well as leads workshops and trainings in Thai Technique.  She continues to passionately study the ancient form of healing touch. You can find out more about her by visiting T'ai Yoga Therapy.

T’ai Jamar is a 200+ hour certified Thai Yoga Massage Therapist and a 200+hour certified Reflections Yoga teacher.  To compliment the ancient art form of Thai Massage, T’ai incorporates Nerve Touch, Chi Nei Tsang, Zen Shiatsu, and Body-Tuning.

Whether you want to energize and revitalize your energy or you need deep relaxation and rejuvenation, T’ai Jamar’s healing touch uses dynamic movement, guided breath, mindful meditation, supported stretch and structural alignment to find flexibility and mobility.

In 2011, she participated in an advanced-Thai Massage practitioner training, The Thai Massage Circus in Laos, completing 150-hours of integrated healing touch therapies. She has studied with David Lutt  and Arno Ihermitte of Osteo Thai College, Takis Oikonomou of the Sunshine House and Jack Chaya of Nerve Touch. In 2006, she earned her 200-hour yoga teaching certification with Paula Tursi, founder and creator of Reflections Yoga. Subsequently, T'ai completed a 60-hour Thai Yoga Massage certification from Spyne-DK, 2006 and 25-hour prenatal yoga training with Urban Yoga at Kripalu, 2007.   Always inspired by Dr Fiquet Duckworth, her mother, healer and Doctor of Oriental Medicine, T’ai incorporates her experience in collegiate athletics, dance, and physical therapy with her interest in sports medicine.  

In 2009, T’ai Jamar Hanna completed a MS Degree in Non Profit Management at Milano, the New School for Management & Urban Policy. T'ai Jamar obtained her BA in Multi Media Arts, College of California, 2000; she holds an AA in Liberal Arts, Women’s Studies, Cabrillo College, 1998. 

Usually you can find her on her bike, in the park with her dog, or actively engaged in inspirational projects as a healing artist and project manager.
