Bare Bones BasicsI’m totally inflexible!! This is the class for you! This class will take you through the poses step by step. You will learn exactly how to position your body so that you can feel that you are “doing it right” even if you aren’t feeling very flexible. Also known as Yoga for the Inflexible! Back to top. FoundationsIn this class, we will add to your Bare Bones Basics poses and introduce Sun Salutations, deeper Hip and shoulder Openers and and a re-introduction to you long forgotten Core. This is a great class for someone who is new to yoga or has practiced for a short time. Back to top. Foundations 1In this class, we will introduce revolved twists and shoulder stands, and all poses will now be linked in a vinyasa flow. Great for a person who has been practicing for 6 months or more. Back to top. Foundations 2This class will be based on Vinyasa flow and we will add poses such as Sirsasana (headstand), Urdhva Dhanurasana (wheel) and hand/arm balances. Back to top. Back to top. Reflect & RestoreHad a long day? Unwind your body and mind with this restorative experience. Soft music and a lit candle help you begin to let go and slow down; yoga does the rest. The first half of class offers gentle flowing asana to release tension and relax your mind. The second half focuses on surrendering into deeply soothing poses and breathing techniques. Pre/Post Natal
Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga combines yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation in order to develop greater vitality, flexibility, confidence, and celebration during this magical time in a woman’s life. This class will target specific areas of discomfort during pregnancy, prepare the body for birthing, offer suggestions for coping with pain during labor and will help ease a new mother back into exercise postpartum. Back to top. Learn to calm the mind, quiet the senses, and increase concentration during this 30 minute guided meditation class. No experience necessary, and students of all spiritual backgrounds are welcome. Class exercises will include instruction in meditation, calming pranayama (breathing exercises), and methods for developing concentration. Donations are greatly appreciated but not required.
